io ist Sally Peck has bee~ a master teacher in viola at the North Carolina School of the Arts since 1975. She is currently the violist with Razoul11ovsky Plus Larsen! a piano quartet-in residence at the School. During her career, she has perfonned chal11ber l11usic with Jascha Heifetz; Gregor Piatigorsky; and the Paganini, Roth and Griller string quar tets. She has also perforl11ed all the l11ajor solo repertoire. As principal violist of the Utah Sytn phony, she toured the United States, Europe and South Al11erica, and recorded l110re than 100 l11ajor sytnphonic works. Her solo recordings include Vaughan WillialllS' "Flos call1pi'' on Vanguard CD. She has also recorded with the Razoul110vskyQuartet onMusical Heritage. Her sununer residencies have included l11usic schools across the country. Ms. Peck's forl11er students l11ay be found perfonninginmajor sytnphonyorchestras,w-here many hold principal positions, as well as in prizewinning string quartets.
