Note : Rudolf Haken is an American viola soloist and composer who is on the music faculty of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Haken indicates that the rst-movement cadenza is “by Clemens Meyer, edited by Rudolf Haken,” 2 while the second-movement cadenza is “by Clemens Meyer, abridged and edited by Rudolf Haken.” 3 is edition consists of the solo viola part only and indicates that it is “compatible with the piano score published by International Music Company (Meyer and Katims versions).” 4
