Generally agreed to form a commirree with Steely appointed temporary chair to research feasibiliry ofAVS involvement in such a project, with the goal of having a complete and well-defined proposal by Congress 2002. II. Slowik delivered Treasurer's Report 2001 as prepared by Rose. Conference call to Rose regarding Trea surer's report.

Moved seconded (Fielding) and unanimously agreed to extend Steely's tenure as editor of ]AVS for another 5 years. IV.
