read by 1034 people, using three readers for three or more. Some teachers leave their ]AVS for students to read while waiting. This should be encouraged by all teachers. For most AVS members, the ]AVS appears to be their connection to the AVS, since 430/0 of respondents have not attended a Viola Congress. To inform, stimulate, and enlighten is what most ]AVS readers perceive as the most important function of ]AVS. This suggests a more complex expectation of the reader for ]AVS as a "one stop" center and not just a communication vehicle.
