T he American Viola Society (AVS) is an association for the promotion of viola performance and research. Your personal and financial support is appreciated. As an AVS member, you receive three issues of the Society's journal (JAVS) each year and The Viola as it is published by the Inter national Viola Society. Membership also brings you the satisfaction of knowing you belong to a col legial group dedicated to the furtherance of our instrument and its literature.
