JAVS Fall 2024

The last work, Three Pieces ( Le Captive, Berceuse, and Mazurka ) by Amy Beach was originally composed for violin in 1898. Each movement is a short character study, with a capricious Romantic quality that provides interest and charm. The Breaking Glass Ceilings album features great contrasts and distinctive uniqueness, all featuring on a brand-new music label: Sounds Better On Viola.

We couldn’t agree more. It all sure does sound better on the viola!
