Lecture-Recital Mayman Hall Rebecca Clarke's Manuscripts

Vinciane Béranger – This research project aims to compare the manuscripts of violist and composer Rebecca Clarke with the printed editions. This approach highlights differences regarding the playing indications (fingerings, breathing, tempi). It provides the interpreter with keys to understand the specific vision Clarke had of her instrument and allows performers to elaborate a personal and documented interpretation.
